For the whole of Saturday, 22nd November, Knut's Kissa will open as part of the rainy days festival for new music at Luxembourg Philhamonie. We will turn the building's VIP lounge into a bring-your-own-music listening cafe.

On this day 20 years ago the first show was broadcast across the international #radio #art network Radia. You can find it and all the subsequent 1000+ works of radio art on the Radia website: https://radia.fm/
"Sabedoria de Autocarro" (bus wisdom) is the name of our project for the #Portuguese #Capital of #Culture in #Braga that was launched today. A fully packed (and fully electric) bus started circling the city with stickers and sounds we created from the collected wisdoms of Braga's bus passengers. Photo by Stefanie Koch.
You can read about it and listen to all 30 audio vignettes here: https://mobile-radio.net/connecting-commutes/

We visited the new Resonance FM headquarters in London last week. So nice to see the radio spirit in full swing again. If you like what they do, please help them to build a second studio for more live radio broadcasting:

One year ago the book Radio Art Zone, edited by Sarah, was published by Hatje Cantz.

“This book is the culmination of more than twenty years of dedication to a cause, the result of a process to establish the conditions for radio to become a flourishing genre of art.” (Sarah Washington, ‘Introduction’, p. 5)

Available in all good bookstores.

After reminiscing with Billy Roisz after her gig at meakusma about the CWCH collective radio art performances, we decided to complete the webpage for this early lock-down project from 2020.

Includes an introduction, review section, photos and the complete audio archive.
