It feels part of the hagiography of these dudes, that we cover them like kings and we cover their companies like nations, but somehow we donât cover what their tech is going to do to real people.

28 October 1940 | During the afternoon roll-call a prisoner was found missing. A penal roll-call was ordered. Prisoners had to stand âat attentionâ in their uniforms but without coats, jackets, hats or shoes. It was sleeting the whole day.
The roll-call was called off around 9 pm after the missing prisoner was found. He had tried to hid from the rain and died in his hiding place in the camp.
After the roll-call 120 dead, unconscious or sick prisoners were collected from the roll-call square.
27 October 1923 | A Russian, Leonid Oshurko, was born. A farmer.
In Auschwitz from 14 August 1942.
