@justip They are very handy, use mine all the time. My only advice is to prevent stickiness (I over flour the little dough ball like I do with bread) but the parchment paper is more traditional. Also place the little dough ball closer to the hinge as it gets pressed outward from there. Sounds obvious but it does help to get those sweet perfect round tortillas that impress.
As mentioned arepas are more hand formed. My sister is an arepa wizard (gluten allergy) and won’t hear of machine pressing.

@tomnorthfilm Man I feel that. I’m in the same boat. Not sure if it’s the long, grey, cold winter or the state of the world seemingly everywhere, or I don’t know what. But I can’t seem to see anything lately and like you I can’t bring myself to share crappy “getting through it” shots just for the sake of it.
Whatever it is though I’m just hoping upon hope that it passes. My thoughts are with you too.

Not XP1. Years ago a good friend gave me a bag of spent 35mm film cartridges to bulk roll with and it always makes me chuckle when I fill one back up again. It's still not quite nice enough out to put a roll of colour through the Minolta CLE so it's another roll of Fuji Neopan 400.

My (very small, powerless) kingdom for an iOS app that scrobbles to an arbitrary URL. Sure Last.fm is decent but I want to #indieweb -ify my scrobbles and send them somewhere I own.

If an app can send structured data to Last.fm, it surely must be able to send to a URL I specify in settings.
