Medical illustration of pregnancy and foetus by Chidiebere Ibe, 2020. Ibe is a Nigerian medical illustrator and student who noticed that less than 5% of illustrations in textbooks depict Black skin, and is working to change that.

Ibe has also illustrated skin conditions such as eczema, which look different on dark skin but are seldom included in textbooks.
