I've spent quite a few hours trying to process comet Pons-Brooks images, and have come to the conclusion that this is about as good as it gets for me and this comet, and I should move on with my life.
This will look better once the internet at large supports HDR color profiles

I know Threads is getting all the attention this week, but honestly using it and then thinking about what we’re going to Meta just to use it really makes me appreciate what Mastodon stands for! The possibility of interpretable networks in the future is really exciting!

I thought you might like to see how this thing moves. It's not moving in the direction you think it is, based on the tail. Since I'm tracking the comet, it more or less stay in the center of the frame, but you can see its movement in the star positions.
Last September, the Parker Solar Probe swooped 5.3 million miles (8.5 million km) from the Sun & passed through an exceptionally powerful solar storm.
