@bumble it's been a weird few days, with this instance a bit up and down still and my other one (mastodon.xyz) disappearing into thin air..! My biggest issue is that I really like phanpy.social as a client, but it only supports mastodon-compatible API access. It seems to handle things like posts with multiple boosts and replies much better than calckey, which shows you the same post many times.
It's been a weird day on the fediverse here. I'm on two text-based instances, and both have been having big problems. Mastodon.xyz has DNS problems by the look of it so has effectively disappeared, while calckey.social has been unavailable all day for me until right now. I haven't enjoyed the feeling of being fully out of touch here! #calckey #mastodon #fediverse

I am enjoying calckey.social, but I must admit I'm struggling with the uptime / performance issues. I would say that probably half the time I try to use it, it's either completely down or so slow as to be effectively unusable. Is this likely to be continuing? I notice that new users are being invited now, which feels like it might not help so much ... #calckey #uptime
