Americans will do anything to avoid using the metric system
Bose is saving the world from tons of electronic garbage by open-sourcing their discontinued speaker. This applaudable behaviour should be the default for all IoT manufacturers, as it brings true sustainability to the tech in our homes.

Daughter just came home to tell me the teachers at school tried to confiscate her vape but they couldn't because it's actually a kazoo.

"I made a kazoo noise at them and I could see them dying on the inside so I made a sad kazoo noise instead. I don't think it helped."

Happy new year! During 2025 my all sky camera imaged the sky every 15 seconds, and this picture shows what happened in the sky. It shows the length of the night and day with the hourglass shape, the monthly lunar cycle with the diagonal bands, the elevation of the Sun at local noon, and lots of clouds.
