If your AI features are so amazing, charge people extra for them and watch them pay.

The only reason to bundle AI and raise prices is that deep down you know the features aren't good enough to pay for, but you have to recoup the money you spent on them. And guess what, everyone is taking this option. Weird, right?

If you want to control the price of eggs, you need to control bird flu.

And the worst thing you can do if you want to control bird flu is censor scientists and scrub CDC data.

Apple News handles blocking channels so poorly it defeats the purpose. Rather than just hiding the content, it still appears. And if you tap on it, a dialog appears telling you you've blocked the channel. Who signed off on this?
Does “Loving” and “Disliking” songs in Apple Music actually do anything? Or is that just an interface element to falsely provide the illusion I have some sort of say in what I hear? I'm thinking it's the latter.
Twitter learned, and Reddit is fast learning, that people are not addicted to the platform, they’re addicted to the community they found there. Ruin the community, and people will leave the platform. It really is that simple.

The only feature that matters for any social media experience is the people who are on it. I'm amazed at how many technology leaders forget this and get distracted by the underlying tech, protocols, features, etc.

Elon is a great example. He thinks he bought a platform. But what he really bought was a community. And of the two, the community has degraded far more than the platform.

Never been a fan of their cars. But this pretty much certifies I will NEVER buy one:

General Motors (GM) will phase out Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in its vehicles starting this year, shifting to a built-in infotainment system co-developed with Google (via Reuters).

You may have noticed the sun is setting an hour later all of a sudden. That was my idea.
Really bad behavior from Apple: Suddenly I noticed an Apple TV widget (I don’t recall putting there) appeared in one of my stacks. I tapped to edit the stack so I could remove it. The only option is to add it to the stack. What?!? The only way to remove it, was to add it (even though it was already there) it then gave me the button to actually remove it. Gross apple.
