There's a lot of talk about the addictive qualities of social media apps, but why is nobody talking about the effect solar panel monitoring apps have on middle-aged men?
It has been 32...0 days since I last used max() instead of min() by accident.
Huffin' way too many of their own farts on this one 🤣

Here’s an early look at a prototype, when @rustyshelf and I were still trying to figure everything out. It’d been fun to take a prototype-first approach, before finalising the features and design.
Our next plugin is out! Robot Vowels is a formant filter that can make any sound sing. https://bjango.com/plugin/robotvowels/

If I'm honest this surprised me. In my decades old experience "Linux" used to mean "terrible UI, annoying to configure and in need of constant tweaking". Honestly this has been set and forget in the best possible way.

Also Kodi's UI is actually...good. TVHeadEnd not so much (you can tell just from the name, lol) but ever since I wrote the remote app, zero reason to ever go in there.

6 months later and my lil' Pi5 Kodi box is still acing the TV recording stuff. I also made an iOS remote app and it passed the Spouse Testâ„¢* with flying colours.

My setup is basically:
- Pi5 running LibreELEC and an external USB drive for TV recording.
- iOS remote app that calls the TVHeadEnd and Kodi back end APIs to show recordings, playback controls, etc

* you might be thinking this means "non technical" but my wife is just as technical as I am. She has zero tolerance for tech nonsense tho

I hear Cook is going to issue pardons to the design team on his last day.
