Senior Architect building Drupal sites for more years than I care to count, with a strong focus on accessibility and best practices. Trying very hard to convince people that the AI craze is a pyramid scheme that is going to crash the entire economy. Funny, good #Drupal / CMS development is also about restricting the number of features and options that the editors can see so the interface is not overwhelming (and so they don't unintentionally break things). I guess I didn't explicitly think of it as #Accessibility.

Good news: GitHub Copilot is scared shitless of the concept of gender.

Instead of foo, bar and baz, use “genderqueer”, “demisexual” and “leather_daddy” and you’ll reduce the likelihood of getting a spammy PR from a sad robot.

The more I look at this, the more apt of a representation it is of the current moment we find ourselves in. Ignoring the context of the original work to enshittify it and reframe the disaster of AI as Good Actually while being demonstrably bad under the most casual scrutiny. @blue assuming the squirrel is their mascot, they have chosen to represent themselves as the status quo instead of anything like a solution. So even if we accept that good prompting counts as “creating,” whoever is behind this didn’t even bother to ask for something with a layer of meaning. It’s just “I can say this meme”
