Told my wife that for a period of time in elementary school we were not allowed to run on the blacktop at recess. We had to walk or skip. The argument for this was safety(?!).
There were other grass & mulch areas of the playground we could run.
But blacktop, no go.
She, a kindergarten teacher, could not comprehend this.
Was I at the only elementary school with such a rule?

It's important to remember that the Fediverse (the correct term to describe what people frequently call "Mastodon") isn't Twitter and there are different social rules here. In order to avoid upsetting people who've been here for a while already, here's some guidance:
1. Become ungovernable
2. No snitching
3. Otherwise, do whatever the fuck you want

Well, if you wanted Twitter out of your life, Elon seems to be helping you out.
I guess the #Flyers needed to dump salary. Really shows how far Hayes has fallen, and how bad that contract was given that we only get a 6th (next year) and retain 50%.
