billyok@daringfireball Time and place, sure, okay. Calling them "insufferable" because they speak out on a cause that's closer to home for them than it is for you and me, though ... woof. But it's clear, after your bizarre posts last year about university protests, that if it was any other topic, you'd not have used "insufferable" to describe the people protesting it.
All the strawman arguments in the post are just comically bad, but actually, yes, maybe Microsoft should reconsider those ties.

New @overcastfm does not always restore the active podcast, or sets the resume of an active podcast many minutes back from where I left off. Imo this accurate tracking feature is sacrosanct and should be prioritized. Love this app — use it daily since the first release! @marcoarment
@marcoarment @overcastfm OK, I found the toggle for banner ads was on after update in Overcast Premium settings. Also, scrolling list seems to have improved since last night, so perhaps just needed to process some data. Thanks!
@marcoarment @overcastfm FYI Got the update today. I’ve been a premium subscriber for years, but after update I’m seeing ads on the play card view. (Also, my All Episodes list scroll has been degraded to a stuttering crawl.)
Prediction:
Democrats will do the right thing and call for an end to political violence, and then wring their hands for days about “civility” and “bipartisanship” and “toning down the rhetoric."
Meanwhile, MAGA Republicans will use this incident to justify the rhetoric of revenge and incite more violence.
Nothing has changed. Trump was a fascist psychopath seeking to end democracy in America before this incident and he will still be a fascist psychopath seeking to end democracy after this.
