@GossiTheDog Yes, switching has been difficult and mostly I see a lot of posts about how great mastadon is and how terrible new users are for not appreciating that. I get why people don't want the algorithms, but on twitter they helped me build my networks, find the things I liked, and curate my feed much more quickly.

We do not have the resources to scroll through a user’s post history to try and locate the post that resulted in the report and so we close the report with no action. @Willavandijk well not to self promote but ours (Sandbank et al, 2020; Project AIM) has garnered a lot of attention (was selected as a top 20 advances in autism research) and Steinbrenner et al., 2020 (NCAEP) is perhaps an interesting contrast that shows how different methods and inclusion criteria can lead to different findings
@ProPublica I would like to be able to see all of the people that follow a given user and then very easily follow those people (e.g., follow links next to each name listed instead of having to go to their profile)
