Really handy for getting an idea of how many panels you can fit, what you're likely to generate, and what the shading from your neighbour's roof might be like, etc. Nerding out and getting a better understanding of how it all fits together!

Why do most #mastodon clients never seem to load the latest posts when I go the top of my timeline after a few days or weeks? Instead they seem to load days of posts in chronological order since I last refreshed, until eventually it reaches the most recent. Only web-based ones like https://elk.zone and https://phanpy.social seem to behave as expected..

my new analytics product “google analytics analytics” will tell you if stakeholders are using the google analytics data you’re collecting.

you simply add my small script to your site and it will prevent google analytics from collecting data. then we wait to see if anyone complains

Today I learned: downloading an AppleTV show to your iPhone and then AirPlaying that to your MacBook Pro screen will not actually use the downloaded file, and instead will just stream the maximum format that your tethered phone can manage to serve up… and in 4K Dolby Vision, that is an easy way to burn 20GB of data in a night. 😑

@zachleat Hey Zac, you're learned on the topic of trailing slashes - can you ask the @cloudcannon team if there is a hidden setting to enable a site to use trailing slashes for page urls and links? My site uses them when built, so it would be great to have the paths and link-picker reflect that!
