Knee deep in #research right now for my third #historicalfiction book in my #vikingtradinglands series.
The first thing I always want to know is.... what did their world look like? What would I smell, see, or feel underfoot when walking around?

In honour or #pretendtobeatimetravevelerday (I know I'm a day late) what time period, and place would you go back to?

For me, I would be visiting the early Rurikid dynasty (mid to late 9th century) in Aldeigjuborg (modern day Staraya Ladoga) and Kyiv.

I'm an Australian author who writes Viking historical fiction - with adventure and action, all with a female protagonist. My focus is the early days of the Rurikid dynasty, and the Viking trade routes. My current series is named the Viking Trading Lands series.

History is my jam. I love reading anything historical (fiction or not), cooking, sewing, travelling and coffee - lots and lots of coffee.
