queer identity has always been a political stance for me, less about any essential nature and more a statement against cisheteronormativity. if there's a hegemony enforcing transwomanhood as an imperative, i feel a desire to resist it by identifying with whatever that hegemony stigmatizes (e.g. femboys). this means my identity is partially context dependent. i can be a trans woman to transmisogynists, a non-binary person to truscum, a femboy to misandrists, etc.. i am whatever offends identity police most

Since my job fired me due to my new disability, I'm struggling through the slow process of getting disability. In the meantime, I am unable to work with bills (including my hrt) piling up. Any and all donations or shares are greatly appreciated https://gofund.me/23b89e8d
A Mitzvah to Eat is a good resource for people who can't (or at least shouldn't) fast on Yom Kippur for health reasons, as well as people who can't take part in other Jewish rituals or mitzvot. #Mazeldon https://www.amitzvahtoeat.org/

At A Mitzvah to Eat, we empower Jews needing ritual accommodations to safely connect to sacred Jewish practice and community. We provide resources, support, and advocacy for these Jews, as well as the Jewish community and its leaders. Together, we are creating a Jewish culture of dignity, meaning, and belonging.

We're just over $300 out of a $6,000 goal. We've achieved the short-term goal of getting a walker, which is great!

Now we just need to share the burden of life expenses for this gig worker while she heals.

may you have a good sealing in the book of life.
equating trans men to just 'men' while erasing their transness is so convenient. yes, being trans does not exempt a man from the social position of manhood, but patriarchy does not afford trans men all the same privileges and power as cis men, nor does male privilege overwrite trans men's oppression as trans people. claiming all men are oppressors including trans men may technically be partially true, but as a reductive claim it ignores that patriarchy oppresses trans men and does not acknowledge trans men as deserving of the privileges given to cis men

this isn't a topic that cannot be discussed under any circumstances, but it is one that demands abundant nuance and care if it is to be discussed at all. when that nuance is lacking, it leads into very dangerous rhetoric that can harm transmascs and damages trans solidarity

i also have to ask why this conversation is necessary in the first place. what good does it do to paint trans men as oppressors, when the potential harm of such rhetoric is all to evident?
