Iβm about to hit the 5 year anniversary of when I bought my Africa Twin. I absolutely love it, but I bought it with the intent to use it as a proper go anywhere adventure bike.

But this weekend everything finally clicked!
I tackled a bunch of challenging terrain (sand, rocks, sketchy water crossings) and was able to get into the flow and confidently take things as they came.
And now the door is now wide open in terms of where I can go explore, which was the reason I wanted to get into adventure riding to begin with.

Back in California but still on my panorama nonsense. Visited Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks over the weekend and climbed two tall granite slabs with spectacular views.
Final panorama of the trip: A lovely river valley that has somehow misplaced the 152m tall tower that itβs famous for. Must have washed away or something.
Todays adventure involved helicoptering up to the hills above Lake Wanaka. Featuring a cameo from the friend Iβm traveling with.
Embraced my inner #horsegirl with todays panorama.
Since instagram hates fun aspect ratios Iβm going to try posting the panoramas from my current New Zealand trip here.
