Had I ever ridden off-road when I bought it? Nope.
Is a tall, large, top heavy bike a good beginner friendly introduction to off road riding? Not really.
But for the past 5 years I’ve been joining a group for a couple of adventure rides a year all through out the Sierra Nevada mountains. Pushing myself, falling down in lots of exciting ways, and every so slowly figuring things out.

But this weekend everything finally clicked!
I tackled a bunch of challenging terrain (sand, rocks, sketchy water crossings) and was able to get into the flow and confidently take things as they came.
And now the door is now wide open in terms of where I can go explore, which was the reason I wanted to get into adventure riding to begin with.
