That said I don't think that the Biden administration or the us at large is any beacon of hope or house on the hill for human rights. In fact us foreign policy is a nightmare of disregard for human rights. But not even only foreign policy even the internal affairs of US are showing frequent disregard for the value of human life. Regardless of Conservative or liberal.

That's what we are having today. People working in civil service and government agencies will probably soon be required to enforce measures they wouldn't do if it wasn't their livelihoods depending on it. Or disciplinary measures threatened against them.
