Probably a weird question, but is there a way to post images and not have them show up in the media tab?

I'm doing daily sketching, and I think posting them might help motivate me to stick to it, but part of what mentally frees me up to be able to quickly roughly sketch is accepting that sometimes I'm going to think it looks bad and being okay with that

I'd really like to keep my media tab for more finished pieces and not be flooded with kinda shitty sketches if possible

any ideas?

2022 has been a rough year to be an artist online.

The disrespect towards artists has led to a fairly long artblock so I didn't think I'd actually made that much art this year, but somehow I've done about 30 paintings, including some of my favourites ✨️

I've had artblock for a couple of months now, just felt incapable of creating, and I think the birdapp only makes it worse.

Seeing the most hateful stuff on there is just draining. The current trend being AI "art" trained on stolen artist's work (and nudes, revenge porn) without their permission. I get that its a fun thing for the ignorant, but the people who know the cost and don't care, or worse double down and further attack artists about it, ugh

This is one of my favourite paintings of one of my favourite people.

The art gods were with me on this because it just happened so easily, no second guessing and muddying the colours, just bold saturated colours with strong brushstrokes.

I'm really happy with how this one came out, hope you like it too
