Me, standing atop a cherry-blossom-swept bridge, re-sheathing my katana

@jonas @c0dec0dec0de what seems to be the problem with tmux?

For true color you have to add some lines to your config file indeed.

Zellij is great, but the workflow and bindings are weird. I have to keep locking and unlocking.

@jonas @c0dec0dec0de you can rebind everything in tmux.

The defaults are ok, but not great. With a little time and effort you can get the same workflow you have in screen.

And if you are ready for something different, Zellij has great features an sensible defaults.

@jonas so… how good is your reason for using screen, instead of tmux or zellij?

Because I’ve never had that kind of problem with either.

@Shine_McShine mis hobbies incluyen quemar bosques y envenenar lagos.
@rust_discussions wow that’s so cool!
Got off my call with Reddit just now about the API. Bad news unless I come up with 20 million dollars (not joking). Appreciate boosts. https://www.reddit.com/r/apolloapp/comments/13ws4w3/had_a_call_with_reddit_to_discuss_pricing_bad/
📣 Had a call with Reddit to discuss pricing. Bad news for third-party apps, their announced pricing is close to Twitter's pricing, and Apollo would have to pay Reddit $20 million per year to keep running as-is.

Hey all, I'll cut to the chase: 50 million requests costs $12,000, a figure far more than I ever could have imagined. Apollo made 7 billion...

Great example of accountability. Terrible example proper communication. Very sad situation in general.

Many orgs have the same problem. Temporary governance bodies that live long past their intended time-frame, and are not replaced by well structured alternatives.

We have technical debt, but we also have organizational debt.

@thelinuxEXP @darkcl also, the USA deciding they didn’t want to depend on Rusia to send stuff to space helped A LOT.

They gave tons of money and ready made R&D to private companies, SpaceX included, to “privatice” the space race.

So in the end it is just a military contractor with a shitposting CEO.

@wiredfire @abraham it is said he will pay 694.20$ per share, and his first day as CEO he will fire everybody in the parks and put Song of the South in Disney+
