Anyone else noticing a significant rise in spam GitHub @ mentions?
I've started getting regular notifications of mentions on issues I'm not participating in, and honestly it's starting to reach the level where they need to improve the moderation and spam reporting.

So cool that @google Home now includes a basic script editor!
Now they need to add some more starters (sunrise, sunset), and some support for simple expressions (+/- 1 hour, 5 minuutes, etc)

βAI-Assisted court submissions cause lawyers to fear for their jobsβ
So many fields (law, teaching, content creation) are on the cusp of the disruption AI is going to bring.
We need to be thinking now about what this means for people, the jobs of the future, and itβs impact on society as a whole.
Thereβs huge potential to improve our lives, but also to drive the gap between rich and poor.

How does Star Trek have holodecks and transporters, yet not have seatbelts on the bridge?
Getting excited for part 2 of the film this fall, so figured it was time to listen to the original again. Rewatched part 1 this weekend and itβs still so beautiful to watch a year later.
