#TGCFReadAlong I’m still a bit behind but I wanted to let you know, even tho I don’t post that much myself I’m reading all your sweet posts about the current chapters :3

What surprised me most, now that I read the books for the first time, is how different the order of events is compared to the donghua? it literally changes everything when it comes to the subtle hints and the personality of each character…can’t wait to get to know them a second time

STARember is amazing how do they draw so good? also their style matches soooo well with the story aaarhfhfg I love it 

I hope they get payed well, and feel satisfied with the work. I can’t imagine one person doing all that work by themselves…  they deserve the best!

#TGCFReadAlong

It just occurred to me, that the fact that I first saw the donghua and first read the manhwa is very lucky! if I had read the books (or even the fan translation) first, I would have had no idea how the characters looked like.

TGCF was my first real entry into asian mangas/animes/books (excluding onepiece, sailor moon, etc.)

especially chinese stories where entirely new to me, so I’m glad I was able to see their clothing etc. beforehand!

Why is Mu Qing so mad at Xie Lian even tho Xie Lian did so much for him (letting him cultivate at the temple, bringing him into the heavenly capital)? Mu Qing seems ungreatful somehow?
