@faassen @Lorenanicole That's my problem with it. The result is based on who's already here. I want something like "do you like food, travel, and code? If so join this server" because that would be fun 😛

@pythonbynight @webology It's just too complicated. It assumes the people who want to use mastodon have the time, energy, and resources to do all of those, when some of us just want to connect with our friends and not have the luxury of being able to worry about the internal infrastructure and technicalities 😟

@itsthejoker I was thinking of using httpx as well! Is there such a library yet or do you just write your own custom code?
