About 9 months ago, I published this small stone-like cuboid at “mastodon.art”. Now I have adjusted the PBR material a little more finely and it is added to the “PBR material collection” that I would like to offer for free in the near future. It looks quite simple at first glance, but the devil is in the details, as they say.

It is not that easy to model the right system for a motor-controlled large façade that is almost 14 meters high, almost 10 meters wide and about 10 to 15 cm thick and made of metal. The subsequent rendering should be functional and coherent. Since I am not an engineer, this is a somewhat tricky matter. 😳🤔

I started the series about a year ago and published the first steps at the time on “mastodon.art”. After a long forced break, I have resumed the work. The whole thing is still in the concept phase and a lot still needs to be modeled. The textures are also not right yet, as I only created them roughly to see how they would look.
