@jessebot @dpecos In contrast to US you can go straight for the Class 1/Full exam. You don't have to pass them in sequence, so consider going for the highest qualification right away.

@jessebot @dpecos There's no residence requirement for the qualifications (at least I know of people traveling to UK to skip the language barrier). There usually is a residence requirement for getting a license with a callsign.

Morse code proficiency has been dropped as a requirement in CEPT equivalent licenses, I think some countries have a legacy license which just gives you bragging rights.

I found that NL N license is a CEPT Novice equivalent, but nothing for IE or UK.

@jessebot @dpecos You can do that. You have to think about passing an exam as something separate to getting your license. In most cases one comes right after another, but it doesn't have to. So you can pass an exam in Ireland or UK, and request a license with a callsign attached in NL where you reside.
Start by checking licensing requirements in the country you want to receive the license in. It's super clear for the highest tier (Extra, A, 1, NL F), but I don't know the reqs for the lower one.

To facilitate doing this for others' benefit, I made a quick webpage to convert your Google Maps GeoJSON data to GPX and KMZ files that render well in Organic Maps.

Fascinating paper. It's long, 200 pages; you can read the intro and the Discussion section and get much out of it already though, but they do their homework.

Effects of LLM usage on memory retention and task execution:

- LLM users do get judged well by human and LLM judges for their essays
- Can't remember them
- Low cognitive activation
- Essays are mostly the same

@xanathon The last few IKEA catalogs that were still printed were CGI-only, not a single real photograph. That's probably when they started creating these models.

@yacc143 HAHAHA. Install pre 3.x versions and say that again. Aside from that: I do not know any DCC application that does not have a steep learning curve. Since 3.x the UI became better than some commercial software.
