@bookishbrews I am always glad when Christmas is over. The weight of the expectations is a bit much. Christmas has been weird for me for the past twenty years. Hope everyone reading this will make the best out of it that they can.
@cherryberry56 thank you for your kind words. I have a vicious head cold which has kind of taken over my psyche. And stolen my Christmas. So it’s not as I expected, first Christmas without mom. It’s surreal, trying to come to grips that I will never see her again. I hope you have a lovely Christmas.
My mother passed away this year. Some of the things she loved: rabbits, classical music, particularly Beethoven and Mozart, baking, chocolate liquer, toodling around the mall with her daughter (me), going for coffee, road trips, word search puzzles. It's going to be a very sad Christmas without you.
@steaphan Thank you so much. A friend on FB suggested the way forward is to review both, edit, polish, and publish. If only it were that easy. But I think I've gotten off track recently and need to focus more of my time on my creative pursuits -- writing, photography, art & music.😀
