The MagpieMy mother passed away this year. Some of the things she loved: rabbits, classical music, particularly Beethoven and Mozart, baking, chocolate liquer, toodling around the mall with her daughter (me), going for coffee, road trips, word search puzzles. It's going to be a very sad Christmas without you.
Cherry@magpie64 sorry for your loss. I’m three years into the grief journey myself, having lost my mother in 2019. The first milestones after are always the hardest. I hope Christmas is as easy as possible for you. You’v got this.
@cherryberry56 thank you for your kind words. I have a vicious head cold which has kind of taken over my psyche. And stolen my Christmas. So it’s not as I expected, first Christmas without mom. It’s surreal, trying to come to grips that I will never see her again. I hope you have a lovely Christmas.
