America doesn't have a health CARE system. We have a health INSURANCE system. That ain't the same thing.

When anyone walks in the door, our first question isn't "How can we fix you?", it's "How're you gonna pay for this?"

Getting pretty sick of seeing gun violence being framed as a mental health issue. In the UK you have more chance of winning the lottery than you do of being seriously harmed by a stranger with a diagnosable mental health condition. Many American gunmen seem motivated by hatred of women and minorities, a horrible trait but not a mental illness. Mentally ill ppl are statistically more likely to use guns for suicide than murder. So stop it.

Remember: One of the biggest reasons the federal debt has exploded is that tax cuts for corporations and wealthier Americans have reduced government revenue.

If Republicans actually cared about controlling the debt, they’d repeal the Trump tax cuts or pass taxes on the rich.
