@stargirl It's literally being marketed as a learning curve eraser. If their promise holds true, it's impossible to be left behind!
Turns out polyethylene tubing isn’t so great of a diffusion solution if there is thermal variation. Gonna need to source some squishy silicone tubing instead.
@calvin @timonsku They had some of the fastest / usable python env & package management, linting, and type checking tools. Stuff that isn't built into Python itself sadly.
This opens the door to whatever desperate moves OpenAI does in their quest to make some sort of profit. At best, a distraction from continued development; at worst, expensive slop in your env manager.
@rasterweb Sifting through FOSS projects for quality and well-maintained ones was already hard. Community tools were created like "awesome-" lists to help identify good ones. LLM usage has made this at least 10x harder. While good projects could exist that have used AI for development, there's hardly any baby in that bathwater so it's easier to toss it all out.
