Still here. He likes our backyard, a wildlife refuge in a dense urban neighborhood.
In my backyard this morning! It must have heard that this Spring I am teaching a new class on Multispecies Urban Design.
Urbanization & climate change are reshaping ecosystems' adaptive capacity, by altering eco-evolutionary dynamics.
A new paper Nature Climate Change by @evo_urban https://nature.com/articles/s41558-024-01996-2 led by
@MarkCUrban proposes a framework to understand their joint effects & calls for integrated strategies to protect biodiversity. Congrats to all co-authors for a wonderful collaboration!

Manufactured capital is a primary determinant of #sustainable development, with both positive and negative impacts on #wellbeing. Just where it is and how it's constituted matter for #Sustainability but are poorly documented. @davidfrantz et al. point the way forward with an elegant study on "Unveiling patterns in human dominated landscapes through mapping the mass of US built structures" in Nature Communications 14(1) https://nature.com/articles/s41467-023-43755-5
