Rare mastodon fossil found in Southeast Nebraska creek bed

When Travis Benda and his sons ventured out on a deer hunting trip in Southeast Nebraska, they weren't expecting to find a millennia-old fossil.

@tjowens oh yeah regular reminder that #CamelCase is the way to hashtag, so screen readers can parse the characters correctly for #accessibility
@tjowens In my experience mostly using social media on mobile apps, following #hashtag topics on Mastodon is far superior to other platforms’ elasticity around finding subject matter of interest
@tjowens while I recognize it will always be a different feel than the others, Mastodon evolved for me when I started following any possible hashtag related to my interests. Then following (and sometimes quickly unfollowing) accounts that post interesting content using those hashtags. Suddenly I’m following #librarians #BirdPhotography #archives #PunkRock #AndSoOn around the world
@triplingual shared! Or boosted, reposted, etc. ;-)
@triplingual if it’s still open! I will share it. No worries
@triplingual hey will you post that job link that you put on Twitter? Thanks in advance
All parts can be bought separately and then assembled upon arrival, if you need that factored in. #potluck #ReindeerCookie
Just a tip for people who have their tweets post here on Mastodon. When your cross-posted tweet says things like “I don’t know how long I can stay here” or “soon I won’t be using this stupid platform” —unless you specify that you’re talking about Twitter, it looks like you’re referring to the platform people are reading your posts on—Mastodon. #CrossPosts #crossposting
