An ardent feminist and advocate for diversity in literature and publishing, she won numerous awards for her work. This Is My Glasgow Dec 21

Good morning, Glasgow, and happy Winter Solstice to those of you who mark it. This was the Solstice sunrise at the Sighthill Stone Circle in the north of the city. Created in 1979, it was the first astronomically aligned stone circle built in Scotland in over 3,000 years. With just 6 hours and 59 minutes between sunrise and sunset, today is the shortest day of the year, and for the next six months, we will get a little more daylight every single day!

I've just finished reading The Dispossessed by U.K. Le Guin.

I have no words. I just wanna go live on Anarres now. I'd accept all the challenges, to live a truer life, a free-er life, in many ways.

This is the kind of reads that I love. Not just entertaining but that makes you think, and see things differently. It enriches you, and leave you emotional at the same time.

I'm going to read A Wizard of Earthsea now. I just have to at this point, and I'm sure I'll love it.
