.@pdkoenig @daringfireball yes - came to say exactly this. Also, perhaps Apple is trying to offer AI features without completely trashing their environmental policies? The Apple blogosphere applauded Appleās environmental policies and green energy successes for years. Itās interesting to see people barracking for Apple to match the offerings of companies that clearly arenāt paying any mind at all to environmental impacts. š¤
@ianbetteridge I think that if Tim treated Drumpf like weād all hope he would (and as I imagine Steve would have), then Drumpf would quickly start ordering that Apple be sold to the US government or put back doors around their privacy stuff, etc etc. Tim would have no control of the company if things went that way. I know it sucks that Drumpf is a bully. It would be nice if there were any kind of leftist political opposition. Tim is doing well in a very difficult situation imo.
