#instances When I signed up for mastodon.social in 2018, everything was new, there wasn't much to choose. Otherwise, because of my work I would have probably chosen openbiblio.social or code4lib.social. But my interests are very broad: art, music, books, film, history, maps, archaeology, linguistics (besides linked open data😀). Since my retirement I don't do much with linked open data anymore. So I have decided mastodon.social is perfect for me, although it is very big. I'm open for you all!

#introduction I worked with library systems, digital infrastructure, linked open data for the Library of the University of Amsterdam. I was active in IGeLU, the Ex Libris User Group, among others as initiator of the Linked Open Data Group. I was a member of the ELAG conference program committee.
Since I retired I spend time on personal interests cartography and urban history, currently focusing on the history of urban convents in the Dutch Republic. See the links in my bio for more information.
