any word on the existing subpoenas already sent to Arizona officials who took part in the phony elections scheme? They're on record as saying they ignored the subpoenas, and nothing was done -- how is that possible?
Thompson's unwillingness to be more specific suggests that we're gonna be disappointed -- probably more "contempt of Congress" referrals and not much more.
Major media organizations need to come right out and say that Trump and those who support him represent a threat to democratic, constitutional government, and that as media organization dependent upon the first Amendment, they will not treat Trump in a "neutral" way. They need to declare that from now on, Trump and those who fail to oppose them will be considered enemics of the USA, and the reorting will reflect that.
The problem is that progressives hear that definition and think they've achieved a win -- because they won't even try to hear it the way that DeSantis's intended audience will hear it.
Those people have been told for years now that structural racism doesn't exist. So what THEY hear is "the belief in something that does not exist" , something that DeSantis's lawyer also affirmed was DeSantis' view of "woke".
Where I live, there are only 2 grocery stores. One (a Smith's) is owned by Kroger. The other (a Safeway) by Albertsons.
What do you think the odds are that they both stay open after a merge?

Doesn't the fact that Smith was effectively demoted by Holder in 2015 from head of PIN in DC, to ASST US Atty for the Middle District of TN give you pause?
thus, it was no coincidence that Elmo chose Taibbi -- whose sexual harrassment exploits (real, or imagined by him but related as real) and their aftermath have seen him veer well out of the realm of rational/respectable commentary into Greenwald territory...
Elmo wanted someone he knew would read a bunch of perfectly reasonable inter-office memos about restricting disinformation, and treat it as if it were a woke crusade. And Taibbi was that guy....

I think that most women intrinsically understand that attacks on wokeness by men are code for misogynist rhetoric.
The Elmo fanboiz can't be reached by reason, because their idolotry has nothing to do with reason, and everything to do with their insecurity about their masculinity.
They want what Elmo has--so much money it attracts gold-digging beautiful women who will tell them how great they are.
imho, creators like yourself should continue posting on twitter, but only responding to comments on other platforms, and saying that in each tweet.
They're pretending that the way to measure and control racist/homophobic speech is to police for the use of slurs. But the use of slurs is just the tiniest sliver of hate speech --- and Elmo has no strategy to deal with the explosion of hate speech that does not include the use of a slur.
This is especially true with the hugh increase of anti-semitic tweets. No one says "k*k*", but the hate is overwhelming.
