Update: mastadon.online is claiming that the account was suspended by mistake -- something about a "reporter" claiming that Ifill reported an imposter...

3/ Because this number did not look credible, I decided to check it.

I looked at the 12 westernmost voting centers in Maricopa. Only five of them were "only open on election day" Six were also open the day before for early voting. (Lifeway Church,
Estrella Mtn School, Litchfield Baptist, Asante Library, Happy Trails Resort, Marley Park)

A seventh, at a Fire Station in Buckeye, was open from Oct 28th on.

2/ When a local Phoenix reporter asked the Lake campaign where the 48% number came from, he was told "There were 223 vote centers in total. 95 of which were only open on election day. Of those 47 had printer issues."

That was false.

1/ You may have seen or heard the claim, being spread by Rasmussen, that "48% of Maricopa election centers had problems, not the previously reported 20%" That is a lie.

And to justify that lie, the Keri Lake campaign told another lie.

Interesting data from AZ...

The lack of a libertarian/3rd Party candidate in the AZ governor's race accounts for why Kari Lake is so much closer to Katie Hobbs than Blake Master is to Mark Kelly.

Based on current data, Hobbs has received on 29k fewer votes than Kelly did. But Lake received 64K more votes than Masters, because the vast majority of the 46K people who voted Libertarian for the Senate voted for Lake for governor.
