Tomorrow I’m finally going to explore Europe’s largest #cemetery (and 4th largest in the world): #Ohlsdorf.
It happens to be in my home city #Hamburg. But the only time I’ve been was for a goth party when I was a teen.
It’s so big, it has its own app for navigation. I wonder do YOU have suggestions for must-sees?

When I was little, I thought the other side of the Elbe River was America. Turns out it was a bit further away, but I still made it there eventually. Now the real challenge is getting back to the Elbe River.

They are very tall and hold main power lines across the Elbe river. We can see them at the horizon from my parents’ backyard many miles away. It’s a rare treat to visit the Elbe beach where they stand on the north side of the giant river.

Good morning from my parents’ backyard in #Germany. Who knows the name of this #butterfly?
(The plant is lavender.)

“Morning” is relative since it’s noon here. But I just finished breakfast + about to go on a run cause I got lost in a #Threads / #Mastodon hole late last night + in Germany, noon during a heatwave is as “cool” as a Florida summer morning.
