I was out #cycling with my wife and kid yesterday. Wife was on the cargo e-bike, kid on her little Frog bike, and me on my typical road bike with an unused FollowMe attached.
A family of four walking by stopped us to ask questions about all three, clearly interested. Dude just deadpans: "You don't even have a car do you?"
"Nope, that's our car", I say, pointing to the cargo bike.
"Wild" he says.
There's real #FuckCars energy out there, but I think modelling it helps inspire others.

There's this illusion that places like Amsterdam and Copenhagen are some fairytale land where everyone bikes. We do well, but there's a lot of work to do, and we build a lot of stuff that's promoting car dominance - even if there's a bike lane.
I love visiting these ancient, #European cities, with their cozy charm and freedom from #car dominance.
