I'm not much clearer on what actually happened at the very end of "Outlander" after reading an article in which the showrunner explained the series finale.

A feminist upending of the holiday romance formula would have been an interesting change. I liked that Sam had the idea despite being all-in on traditional Christmas.

@inarticulatequilter 😸 His ideas were all beyond bad. The smell of fish is not a party enhancer.

I did laugh when Sam told Jay where the fish he was looking for went and he just immediately accepted the weird answer without asking for further explanation.
