A designated survivor in the event of a mass suckoff made me laugh so hard 😂😂😂

I am loving all the callbacks to earlier storylines. Not only does this show have a deep cast, but it has a deep history and they keep interweaving the new with the old in brilliant ways

I’m so glad there was a solution to Sam’s screenplay. I was so bummed that it seemed like a loss even briefly. Give that woman a freakin’ win!

@inarticulatequilter That was funny, and even more funny that Isaac actually fell for it! His ego is so easy to manipulate. Also, what is he scared of out in the woods? He's a ghost and nothing can touch him! 😸 Sass being irked that his snowman idea was rejected because it was too unrealistic, despite nothing in the script being realistic, was also really funny.

The writers are quite skilled in weaving in older episodes and events.

@lothcat ha! It didn't occur to me that Issac shouldn’t be afraid of the woods

My partner is a huge Christmas movie fan and he kept saying, well, it’s not any weirder than Hot Frosty. But I ultimately agreed with Sam and wished she’d gotten her more feminist ending

@inarticulatequilter I just read the description of "Hot Frosty" on IMDb, and your partner is not wrong.

A feminist upending of the holiday romance formula would have been an interesting change. I liked that Sam had the idea despite being all-in on traditional Christmas.
