I skimmed the article and I still don’t know what this clickbait solution is.
I might have made some of that up but thank you for catching the intent of it.
But that’s not what this conversation is about. It should be the mod or admin who move a community to a new instance, and the users who migrate themselves to follow them community.

It’s under active development of course and I did find it in Google Play after searching by name (“Liftoff”) and scrolling down.
