Shitposting account. Don't expect anything smart.
Don't even remotely add me if you enjoy using tiktok, regularly post to twitter, or are using the fediverse to promote yourself as some sort of e-celeb trying to grow a cult of followers.

Yesterday I entered the supermarket to see if there were empty shelves. The Monday #blackout had (mostly) resolved, but people are still a bit paranoid about a second failure.
Sold out stuff was: Bottled asparagus, canned fabada beans, cheap AA and AAA batteries... And as expected, cheap beer.
The last years have been an absolute disaster. "Nothing ever happens":
- A pandemic
- An energy crisis
- A volcanic eruption
- Flash floods
- Nation wide #blackout with loss of comms (internet and phone networks)
- Donald Trump
I don't know what else can happen in the future anymore. The fact is, everyone was laughing at the EU's 3-day survival kit recommendation, and the blackout proved it was a necessity: Water, batteries and and a transistor radio made a difference yesterday.
The lights are dimming rather than flickering, so the #blackout may not be entirely over. That means no computer, just in case. And since I don't own a laptop, being stuck with the phone kinda sucks.
I got away with just 2 hours without power, and I feel... Robbed. All that emergency prepping, wasted time. Nothing ever happens here.
