It appears that some universities are banning masks of any kind at sites where they are holding their graduation ceremony. This is ableist, exclusionary, and completely unacceptable.

I had been clinging to a false notion that when a lot of people and institutions in my life—people who had been accommodating white supremacy etc—were finally confronted with incontrovertible evidence of the ugliness they supported, they would at last turn from it in revulsion.
And, when the incontrovertible proof arrived, some did turn away in revulsion—a few. Only a few.
Mostly, though ... well.

I'm looking to migrate my #newsletter from Mailchimp to something more of a semi-blogging site that allows email subscription. (Something about writing primarily for email feels bleh to me.) What I'm wanting is something like #Substack, but without the political baggage and ideally more user-friendly for readers.
I could use my #kofi page. Or perhaps better, my long-neglected #Patreon page.
Anyone have any advice?

"I was a #Surveillance Officer for 15 years, so I built stuff to hide covert video & audio gear. I’d disguise it as something else. During all those years of working with Raspberry Pi, I never thought I’d end up working here; as I’ve always been a #RaspberryPi fan, I’m fascinated to see what takes place behind the scenes." https://www.raspberrypi.com/news/meet-raspberry-pis-maker-in-residence-toby-roberts/
