Had the chance to visit the MLK & Coretta Embrace today and two things:
1. When you stand under the statue you’re standing within their embrace and it’s a powerful sense of their love and support for each other and
2. There was a memorial for Tyre Nichols and, yeah, this is a place for the community to share their grief and love for those still in the fight for justice that MLK & Coretta so effectively pushed forward.

More to do, the work continues.

Damn … Magic Eraser?!? #Boston
#cats he’s so beautiful
Show me you live in a 100+ year old house in one picture. I’ll start.

Lovely read about an upbeat outlook for the US. Lots of stats to feel hopeful about, and a good analysis of negativity in US media vs. other parts of the globe. I think Atlantic let’s you read one story for free before the paywall.

Comic is one I read regularly to remind me to step outside and do new things.

Despite Everything You Think You Know, America Is on the Right Track — The Atlantic

Yes, America is a wounded giant—but it always has been, and the case for optimism is surprisingly strong.

Wow

Rep. Green, one of the 20 Reps who badgered the Speaker for plum committee gavels in exchange for their vote will be leading the Homeland Security Committee.

Can’t wait to hear about this “cyber border”

This is a shout out to Cynthia Brumfield & @brianhaugli for their just released book, Cybersecurity Risk Management. Many US orgs have just revised or are revising their policies to meet the new-ish NIST 800-53 R5 guidelines.

This books is the crib sheet to use when presenting to leadership what the gaps are for your organization in a way that prioritizes critical assets. Many #grc folks who have to align with NIST will find it very useful.

Bravo 🙌🏻

Enjoying today’s sunset

Thinking a lot about affordable housing (both assistance for those in need and just plain ol’ doesn’t take 50% of your take home pay) and the glut of office space in #Boston. The challenges of converting office space are considerable as the NYTimes article mentions (gift link) but I’m glad cities are trying to figure out a path to get there.

I don’t know a lot about it, I’ll keep reading — but it looks like such a great opportunity to improve cities, keep them diverse and improve vibrancy.
