The #Atom editor will be discontinued: https://github.blog/2022-06-08-sunsetting-atom/ Another once hyped editor bites the dust. Again, #Emacs and its community continues working with their evergrowing environment perfectly fine. ( #vim is also OK, if you need an #editor only.)
