@stroughtonsmith I am totally interested is trying to create iPad Pro apps I want to use now after watching what you have done.
Information Density

In some respects, this might be one of the bigger issues with using an iPad Pro as your primary device. Especially when it comes to file management. The iPad’s touch first interface means everythin…

Davely's Musings

This is like a bully sitting on your chest controlling your arms going ‘don't punch your face!’. You preinstall Apple Music on a billion+ devices, undercut your competitors on a subsidized price they can never match, boost yourself with illegal anticompetitive features and entitlements and systemwide ad spots, regularly stall them from submitting updates, and then complain they don't innovate enough??

I'm seriously about ready for this company to burn to the ground

"We have a number of Apple issues. I find them very serious, I was very surprised that we would have such suspicions of Apple being noncompliant”

"This is not what we expected of such a company”

Apple's DMA proposal itself violated the DMA in several ways, but we've seen Apple (and App Review) go beyond even that and make blatant violations since — the blocking of UTM is just the most recent example. It is no surprise at all that the fines are coming this quick, and they're going to ratchet up pretty quickly with the way things are trending
iPad has probably had the most dramatic shift of all of Apple's platforms, since its inception. It began as doing very few things to a very high quality, but now it does almost everything, badly. I hope history finds it to have been more than just an incubator for Apple's Mac silicon during the wayward years

Updates on Delta for iPad:

• Yes, it’s coming!
• We’ve been working on it for a while and it’s near completion, just need to finish up controller skins + fix some last bugs
• We didn’t prioritize iPad because plan was to launch in just EU with AltStore PAL (which doesn’t support iPad)
• Obviously plans changed when Apple changed their rules, so we’re prioritizing iPad now and it will come with the next major Delta update (1.6)
• It’s available now for Patrons through regular AltStore 🙂

“But Epic broke the rules” is not a defense of Apple’s behavior. As per the EC, Apple’s developer agreement contains clauses that are now and always have been *illegal*. Epic ‘broke’ the terms of an illegal contract in order to, among other things, test its legality in court and in regulation. We have our answer now: Apple’s terms were illegal. Epic was right to break them. I care nothing for how much money Epic makes, how its leadership tweets, or how Epic’s deals with console makers are worded
I wonder how many articles Apple News hides behind its paywall that are actually free to read on the web? I know I have a few. #applenews
For me. Files app needs improvements. A few operational touches. Developer tools for coding and website creation to entince the pros.
