@rbreich Thank you for posting on Mastodon as well as Substack. I believe we will need to start conversing more in information foxholes that the techbros don’t own. The federated nature of Mastodon helps insulate itself from overreaching powers and I’m hoping that a Canadian owning Substack will help that platform. Anne Applebaum suggested using Spread. Do you have an opinion on that app? Also, I appreciate you moving on from the blame game. Time to gear up and work the problem at hand.

@dsilverman I also can’t settle on an app I like and used a combo of Ivory and Ice Cubes for a while on iOS. Then I liked Metatext the best. I’ll try Feditext now since someone said Metatext has migrated there (hope Metatext’s developer’s health returns!) and Mona. I wish there was a good federated home for people wanting breaking political news who are still stuck on Twitter and we could get some #s to follow. I tried Threads just can’t handle the algorithm way anymore.
