Just finished Black Book. Recommended!
Despite the inherently burdensome deckbuilder genre, every aspect of Black Book beautifully ties into its resplendent celebration of Slavic folklore and storytelling.
I think I would like to post about the games I am playing.

Just played Enter the Gungeon. Not recommended.
The roguelike format yet remains undefeated in tedium. Although clearly a work of passion, never before has playing a game felt like such a complete waste of my time (although some have come close).
Just finished Rebel Galaxy. Recommended.
Some unexpected and interesting artistic choices lend Rebel Galaxy a great vibe, but gameplay is remarkably thin. Luckily, the number of main story missions is small, just wrapping up by the time the action begins to boreāat least when powering straight through.
Just played Bear and Breakfast. Not recommended.
Adorable and creative, but choked by incessant, pointless busywork. Less of a game about building and managing an inn than walking around in circles picking up trash.
Just played Murder by Numbers. Not recommended.
Unbelievably long. What is at first cute and engaging becomes an unbearable drudge as dozens of essentially the same puzzle are thrown at the player again and again and again and again.
Just finished Alan Wake II. Recommended!
A groundbreaking, immaculately-presented, campy, and frequently frustrating mindtrip of a game. Thematically stuffed, but narratively gripping.
