Three months ago I decided to take a leave from my work as a sysadmin and become a teacher. It's surreal the amount of time needed to prepare class materials (theory, exercises, presentations...) and grade the assignments.
But somehow I know it was the correct decision, as I felt stagnant and bored with my job.

So, #BSD users of the fediverse. Which flavor is currently running on your machines?

Boosts appreciated.

@ademalsasa Thanks Ade. I've never used a T430, but I've read that it's great!
@jggimi @stsp In my case both before and after the patch it goes up to HT-MCS7 in 11n. And works ok
@jggimi @stsp Hi! I have just applied all 3 patches, compiled and restarted. Everything ok so far. Is there anything I should be paying special attention to? It's running on a x220 (iwn) and with softraid full disk encryption.
@stsp @solene I suppose that it's not a single (big) thing. Everything seems faster. System feels more responsive, WiFi appears to be much faster... I don't know. Of course the affirmation isn't very meaningful without real measurements, but the improvement has been very noticeable for me. A big big big thank you to everyone involved.
Not that I've ever been really "connected". I meant "not using it and reading the mailing lists"
Dear #OpenBSD developers: What have you been up to in the months I've been disconnected from the project? OpenBSD feels faster now on a x220 with full disk encryption than it felt last summer on a x395 (without disk encryption). What kind of magic have you been doing?
@solene This should be better
